Own a legendary rifle, the Winchester Featherweight, pre 64, Model 70 chambered in .243 Win. This pre 64 is in superb, but, not original condition. It has a Pachmayr recoil pad and the stock has been professionally refinished. Bluing is very good throughout with some thinning on the floor plate.
This rifle has a near new Leupold VXIII, 2.5-8X36, matte in S&K rings/bases. Buy it with or without the scope. With, $1,000. Without $800.
