It's Very Recently Back On The Road After Sitting For A Few Years (Just This Week), New Battery-Fresh Oil-New Fuel Lines-New Pingle Valve-Etc.
This scoot has been sitting for a few years after my last crash on a different bike. I spent this week getting it fired-up and started it up today. I just got back after riding it for appx 50 miles and it ran perfectly.
I had this bike posted for sale last year as a "Project Bike" (because it hadn't run in a few years since my previous crash on a different motorcycle) and took some flack from a couple of rude hecklers that said it was dumb for me to try to sell it without having it running........so I took the ad down. I waited until my busted-up body healed health returned sufficiently to get it running and here it is........ready to rock & roll.
This custom FXE was freshly rebuilt and customized just before I put it away, so it's still a tight runner. While stored it picked-up a couple of paint chips, some of the polished aluminum has dulled a bit and a little of the chrome has also dulled, but over the next few days I'll have it all polished-up and shiny again.
These days I'm a busted-up old geezer, so I doubt that I'll be riding two wheels much more in the future, hence I'm willing to consider trading this Harley for something interesting-fun-cool with 3 or 4 wheels (cars-trucks-quads-trikes-etc)........needless to say, I'll also take cash ($7k...OBO). I'll also consider other big boy toys or maybe even water craft. What have ya got?
