Position Description:
Orbital ATK Armament Systems Division has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer II to support our Armament Business Segment in our Mesa, AZ facility. This position will work closely as part of the Quality Systems Team in order to execute systems and support services to contract deliverables in accordance with a United States Government or international contract. This position will report directly to the Mission Assurance /Quality Manager.
Provide input and recommendations, substantiated by sound data and quality knowledge, to the Mission Assurance Manager.
Required Experience:
BS in Engineering with a strong preference for Quality Engineering or related
3 years Quality and/or Engineering Experience
Defense and/or Aerospace Experience (ASxxxx, ISOxxxx, NADCAP)
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) principles (Control Plans, Gage Studies, PFMEAs, Process Controls, etc...)
Auditing Experience
Travel Requirement: 25 or less
