Job Summary:
Looking for a senior information security professional. Likely you have been either a VP Information Security or Chief Security Officer that came up through the ranks in InfoSec. Familiar with Risk, Corporate Compliance and found out that your passion is more with Software Security and would rather leave the other areas who are either better, or have more passion for those segments. You would be the highly intelligent person who is a self-starter and sees the challenge, and likes to come up with the solution. Also the problem solver, but overall lives and breathes the challenge of information security.
This role is in the Senior Leadership of the company. Leading and Driving the efforts of InfoSec as a world class function. This is a Software Company, and a SAAS company too. So you will need to have a strong background within those areas. You will also need to be an influencer and a champion within the organization driving the business needs within Information Security, across the enterprise. Company has a couple locations, but the headquarters is in Arizona. Been around for about 9 years and already grown to over 500 employees. They will continue to grow, and will lean on you for advice and leadership as they grow.
This is a leave-your-attitude at the door organizing, from the top down. It's collaborative, team driven organization that listens to it's employees, and equally as well to it's customers to delivery what they need, and the tools for their customers to be successful.
Required skills:
10+ years Information Security Engineering and similar roles/capacities.
Current or previous experience working in InfoSec in Software As A Service ( SAAS) and/or Software Development companies.
Experience within InfoSec focusing on software and protecting customer data.
CISSP, and other Information Security certifications
Current or recent role as VP of Information Security, or Chief Security Officer
Experience with Business Continuity planning, some experience with Risk, and contract or vendor negotiation
Bonus skills
