When phony people jump into the music business it is very easy to spot if you have been in the business for many years. Don't waste your time calling this idiot. Where he said in his ad he needed Solo/Duet Acts (Valley Wide) on July 24, in less than 4 days he has auditioned enough bands that his entire music roster is now full? Sorry, but that doesn't happen anywhere. Especially here in Phoenix and the entire valley. His interest is in something other than finding good entertainment. He states he has "enough" acts without even knowing who is calling. However, he does know it was a male on the phone to which he was so rude) so that could be an issue. Women beware! He does not let you speak...without knowing in any way, shape or form who he is rejecting. It is obvious he is not working in the best interest of his clients or performers. To say that all acts, who must be available at all times, are paid $50 an hour is BS. You don't book entertainment that way. To say that after 3 months payment will rise to $60 is BS. This is not how a booking agency works. The best entertainment is paid the best! The entertainer who brings in the most money makes more! He is not offering to pay based on a commission which is standard procedure. Standard commission for an agent is 15-20%. Anyone who does not work in that mode is a fraud. You have no idea of how much he is being paid. So Clients beware! Musicians beware! We have another fraud on the scene "posing" as a business man in the music business. It is very clear this person has no experience and is dangerous! Phony people and people who have no knowledge of how a business works can put you in danger. Be careful when dealing with people of this type.
