For sale is a Vintage EMS Synthi AKS Portable Suitcase Synthesizer Synth. Yes, it's an extremely rare, vintage EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer, in the original briefcase style case with the original keyboard. So fresh from an untouched storage unit that I had to kill a roach that ran out when I opened the case!
Since I had originally listed this Synthi, I managed to contact Robin Wood in the UK, who, by the way, was rather easy to contact. Robin sent me an original power cord and a keyboard connecting cord, and I was actually able to try testing the Synthi. The video I've embedded below shows this Sythi in action. I managed to test the three oscillators, the noise generator and the reverb, they all appear to be working. I was getting a good, loud volume through the channel two speaker.
Cosmetically the unit is in very good shape. Also after I tested it, it is in perfect working condition. Sold as mint!
