Glynlyon Inc., a dynamic, growing, educational software company, seeks a Senior Network Engineer. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, SAN, VOIP, data center, and disaster recovery technologies. This position combines engineering and methodology development disciplines with a business focus for delivering IT performance and service management recommendations.

Essential Functions:
Enterprise level voice and data engineering and maintenance across all infrastructure deliverables
Responsible for maximum system uptime through root cause analysis and prevention, vendor escalation, and disaster recovery planning and implementation
Manage performance of a multiple hardware and software platform interface at the most complex level
Engineer, deploy, and maintain the following core infrastructure technologies: F5 LTM/GTM, Nexus experience, Cisco CUCM, UCCX, routers, switches and ASA firewalls, wireless, VPN and BGP
Experience interfacing with Nimble, NetApp, VMWare and Citrix environments
Network monitoring, alerting, & resolution
Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call capacity for level 3 escalation and outages
Work as part of a dynamic group but also be self-motivated and a "go-to-person" for all technical areas
Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5+ years experience in a medium-large enterprise Network Support role
2+ years administering enterprise SAN technologies
Cisco Certification (CCNA required. CCNP preferred)
In-depth understanding of VOIP, IPSec, MPLS and other wide-area technologies
Strong BGP network skills
Experience with supporting enterprise security products
Experienced at developing and maintaining data protection strategies
Any equivalent combination of a degree, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered
