SGI Global has an immediate opening for an experienced Investigative Analyst at the client site in Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
The NSE DOMEX teams receive copies of documentary evidence in hard and soft copy and, occasionally, subpoenaed records. These items are then analyzed for content and relevance as determined by the Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) to assist in the identification of assets and evidence of money laundering. Information that meets a PIR is stored electronically for analysis. Additionally, team members are expected to brief their findings in both informal and formal settings, as well as create reports, link analysis charts, and articulate leads for the investigators.
Provide data entry from a variety of sources into a large scale data processing system.
Examine and analyze seized and subpoenaed information to identify investigative leads.
Create quantitative reports in Excel on a daily basis.
Report analytical findings from investigative material in a concisely written format on a daily basis.
Work closely with investigative personnel as a technical expert to review and analyze source document(s) for information pertinent to ongoing investigations.
Write intelligence reports and create graphics as required.
Brief and provide working aids during the implementation of "special taskings."
Prepare discovery material for the DEA Agents and/or Prosecutors.
Assist in federal search warrants.
Perform document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) services that assist in the identification of assets and evidence of money laundering and other investigative support to the law enforcement community as required.
Requirements:
Minimum H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
Ability to obtain SECRET clearance required.
MUST be able to pass a background ck which includes credit and criminal.
Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include graphics; must be highly proficient with Excel (Pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communicaiton skills
Experience with database sourcing and queries
