A Reiki Session is done on a massage table, unless you cannot use a table because of physical limitations; then a comfortable seat is great to receive this therapy. The client is clothed during a session. The therapist first evaluates the client's energy field to feel areas of imbalance, then gently hands are placed on the body in specific healing points along the body with extra emphasis on areas of need. A client's chakras are also balanced in a Reiki session. This is a very relaxing session where the client may fall in and out of blissful recuperative sleep which helps the healing process.
