Six easy steps to keeping your home clean.
 
Step One:  If you do not have a screen on your doors and like to keep your doors open, install a screen.  This will reduce the amount of leaves and dust blown into your home.
 
Step Two:  Put mats by all doors that are used to enter the home.  Mats can reduce up to 75% of the dirt tracked into your home.
 
Step Three:  If possible, have everyone remove their shoes before going into the home.  Taking off shoes can also reduce the amount of dirt tacked in by leaving it at the door.  The removal of shoes also helps keep the germs out. 
 
Step Four:  Have your driveway, sidewalk, front entry way, patio and porches regularly cleaned with a pressure washer.  Power washing companies can remove most of the dirt embedded in the concrete surfaces around your home.  This will reduce the amount of cleaning your floors need weather shoes are aloud or not.
 
Step Five:  Vacuum or mop regularly, at least once per week.  This will keep dirt from being ground into the grout or carpet.
Step Six:  Have your windows washed by a professional window cleaner.  Not having to clean them yourself will free you to spend your time else where and having clean windows makes your home look kept and clean.
